Daily maintenance of printer

1. Cleaning the outside of the printer and the paper bin: Please gently wipe the surface of the printer and the inside of the paper bin with a wrung wet cloth. Note that the wet cloth must be wrung out completely.

2. Cleaning of the printing movement: please be sure to clean the printing movement regularly, especially when the printing quality decreases. The cleaning method is as follows: gently wipe the printing head part of the movement with the absorbent cotton dipped in absolute alcohol.

Print paper away from the paper

Check whether the paper card is in place on the left side of the movable baffle. It is recommended to reserve 0.5-1mm clearance, so as to prevent the paper from going astray and not to get the paper stuck.

The print is not clear and the quality is poor

Check whether the printing concentration is set too high or too low. The recommended concentration is 6-8 for white synthetic paper, 8-10 for color synthetic paper, 9-12 for sub-silver paper, and 9-13 for coated paper. The higher the printing concentration, the better!

When printing, the label goes, the carbon does not go

Check that the label paper is pressed under the cots and fed into the paper correctly.

Why does the barcode printer occasionally show some spots on the label

If there are some spots on the label you printed, it is because there is dust in your barcode printer, which needs to be cleaned in time. If the printing temperature is too low or too high, increase or decrease the printing concentration appropriately.

What is the problem when the printing temperature is too high

Cause carbon break band. The printed label content looks like a watermark and turns white. The carbon tape and the label will stick together, and the label and the carbon tape cannot be transported.

Printing paper positioning is not accurate, there is up and down offset or jump

Check whether there is a problem with the paper installation and whether the installation comes from under the paper sensor; Observe whether the sensor part of the paper has labels, dust and other clogging, cleaning or alcohol cleaning; Check the paper type of the label paper, and confirm whether the paper type set in the printer is consistent with the real object, such as gap paper, black label paper, etc. In addition, check whether the label size and paper type set in the printing software are consistent with the actual values, including the space between labels.

When I print, I find that the carbon has creases

Take out the carbon tape, tighten the recovery end or unwinding end, so that the carbon tape is in a tense state, and then load into the printer.

Load the paper, lock the print head, and the screen shows that no paper is detected

Check that the paper is placed under the sensor on the right, and that the label passes through the sensor from under the sensor on the right.

There are white bars in the fixed position of the printed content

The surface of the print head is stuck with dust, carbon belt debris or wear of the printer for a long time. Clean the print head and cots with alcohol cotton swab or replace the print head; Use industrial alcohol and cotton to clean the print head and roller, wipe dust; Check the roller, whether there is any trace of knife scraping, causing the 360°fixed position is not clear when printing, replace the roller; Print head fixed position broken needle, replace a new print head.
